MB Favorite Posts is a WordPress plugin that lets your users bookmark your posts as favorites that they can view later. Think about it like a wish list of items in an e-commerce store. The plugin works with both guests and logged-in users.

MB Favorite Posts is very useful if you're running a site such as:

  • A listing site (hotels, car listings, etc.), where users want to save some listings for future reference
  • A book reading site, where users want to save their favorite books
  • An e-commerce site (maybe built with WooCommerce or Easy Digital Products), where users want to save some items for future purchasing

The plugin already integrates MB User Profile, which allows you to create a registration page and a dashboard page for your users to view their favorite posts. In case you want to allow guests (non-logged in users) to bookmark favorite posts, the plugin has an option to let you do so.

You can control the style of the button with various options:

By default, the plugin adds a simple button before or after the post content, where users can click to bookmark the post. You can also use a shortcode mbfp-button to display the bookmark button anywhere you want.

MB Favorite Posts is built on top of Meta Box and its extensions, and it’s available for the Lifetime Bundle only.

In order to use this plugin, you need Meta Box installed and activated. The necessary extensions are already bundled in the plugin, so you don’t need to install and activate them separately. The extensions used in this plugin:
