    Hi.

    I was added this request to forum before, but i cant add new replies that thread because of it is closed.

    Are you planning to add a feature that we can add new post tags or new terms with front end submission forms.

    A lot of customers are asking this feature, for that reason i want to ask you again if you have any plans about this. Also i believe that front end extension will be very important after gutenberg comes. So it will be nice to do everything in front end, without go to new gutenberg thing. I think it seems only left thing is adding new terms to post via front end forms. If this can be implemented we can use front end as wp-admin usual ui.

    Any plans about this in near future ?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the question. I’ve been thinking about this, too. This feature is still on my plan. But the problem is the UI for the field (and not only taxonomy, but also post field). Not sure how to make it good at the moment.

    Hi Anh.

    My clients liked to use front end forms with your plugin for create posts and pages.

    But they still want to add new tags or taxonomy terms with front end forms very much 🙂

    So i see this for select2

    Dynamic option creation

    I am not a developer but i think that this can be done with select2 Dynamic option creation.

    Hi Burak,

    I’ve tried it. But there’s something related to the creating the new terms in the back end when the form is submitted. I haven’t resolved it yet.
