Hello! I’m wondering if there is a way to dequeue, at the very least, stylesheets loaded by the main Meta Box plugin.

Hi there,

The stylesheet or script is registered and enqueued by the function wp_enqueue_script() or wp_enqueue_style(). Meta Box plugin enqueues the scripts along with the fields/extensions, for example

https://github.com/wpmetabox/meta-box/blob/master/inc/fields/background.php#L16
https://github.com/wpmetabox/meta-box/blob/master/inc/fields/image-advanced.php#L18

You can use the function wp_dequeue_script() and wp_dequeue_style() to dequeue the scripts with its registered name. But after do this action, the fields maybe not working properly, please careful.

Thanks for your prompt reply!

Actually, my main concern is the amount of assets loaded when an image field is on a frontend submission form. From 3 JS files, it bloats to 47 JS files with more than 1,300 inline JS.
