Support Meta Box Builder Help ! All my fields gone !

    Hi I have a custom post type with a lot of custom fields (about 40).
    I’ve added another field, I updated and after page has reloaded, everything gone !
    No more fields, and in my settings it wasn’t connected to any post type…

    How can I get my work back ?

    Hi netalys,

    Can you check on your database using a tool like phpMyAdmin to see if the post content and post excerpt is there for the post?

    Hi, sorry I had to restore a backup because I was in a rush…
    I had 3 Metaboxes of custom fields, I was editing one of them, adding a field, and after clicking update, the page reloaded, and all my fields were gone. The metabox title was still there but wasn’t connected to any post type, and no more field inside…

    I also have this same problem – added an option on a multi-select, hit save and all fields are now gone. I don’t have a backup to restore. It’s quite a problem!

    For clarity, I was using it to add additional data to reviews. The posts still exist, but the additional data is no longer being displayed in the posts.

    However, if I do a group export, it DOES seem to list the group structure/options that were previously there… I just don’t want to import that if it already still exists, as it’ll just create duplicates…

    I also couldn’t wait for a fix, and managed to find a backup luckily, so restored instead. I’ll send the file via the box though.

    Literally can’t work out how to – contact box doesn’t accept attachments, and this forum is so badly laid out I can’t work out how to do anything, including creating a topic or adding an attachment.

    When I tried importing the export to fix it, it just duplicated the same Group/field name, but didn’t restore any of the items or structure, hence why I had to restore.
