I’m not sure if TinyMCE has this feature. I’ll do some research for that.

Hi there any solution for the character limit..

    Anh Tran

Hi, unfortunately, no solution for now.

It not have any simple validation rule for character or word limit check for wysiwyg editor..?

I found this discussion on StackOverflow. I’ll take a look at that. But I can’t give an ETA for now.

Ok but how to use this with the frontend form plugin.

    Anh Tran

I haven’t done adding that to the plugin yet. I’ll let you know when it’s done.

Ok also give me tip so i can try to integrate in the wysiwyg editor or it need some extra core editing..?

Please see the link I posted above. It has some code that you can use to limit the number of characters in a tinymce editor (wysiwyg field). You’ll need some coding, though.
