I can place the field in the side, but as far as I can tell there is no way to expand the width of the Document sidebar, so entering and editing text MB fields is difficult. Being able to locate these fields after the Gutenberg title field would be great. But if not possible…

It would be nice to have a MB Block (reusable?) selectable or a separate one for each MB Group/Field one could place in the Block column so you could edit in full width.

    Hi,

Gutenberg removed the hook for meta boxes after title, and there’s no way to do that. The WP team said that they will turn the post title into a block itself, so there’s no fixed position.

Can you explain this? I’m not sure I got it.

Suppose there were MB blocks you would add like any other block. But these blocks are created when you create a MG field group. So adding your Field Group Block would give you the full Gutenberg editor width to enter/edit your custom fields instead of trying to squeeze the meta box fields into the sidebar.

Ah, I got it. That’s what we plan to do this year!
